Workplace health and safety

Our goal is the workplace with zero injuries.
Maintaining the safety of our employees is our biggest responsibility. ‘’Safety always and in the first place’’ that is what we strive to in our everyday business.

Achieved

Safe working conditions, protective equipment for machines, personal protective equipment, layout marking, 24 hours employees’ insurance.

Financial stability

We cannot be sustainable if we are not financially healthy.
Focus on people, environment and performance are not only the part of our responsibility, but it will ensure us more profitable business in future.

AA – Bosis’ rating in banks- our account has never been blocked. We have implemented financial planning and reporting system in compliance with sustainability principles.

Improvement of ESG factors implementation during investments.

Ethics

Integrity is the foundation of our business. We tend to carry out all our business activities respecting the laws and according to highest standards of ethical behavior.

Achieved

Confirmation of the membership in Sedex base. Sedex is a platform for the control of the results in area of corporate social responsibility and ethics. Confirmation of social responsibility through business evaluation and positioning on the first Serbian CSR Index list.

Preparation for GRI reporting system implementation.

Clients

Our goal is to provide our clients excellent customer service and to measure our performance through periodical surveys on clients’ satisfaction.
We tend to be the main partner and the best supplier of packaging solutions. We are committed to providing our clients innovative and sustainable products together with excellent service.

Achieved

We carried out the survey on clients’ satisfaction and loyalty which showed that Bosis fulfills clients’ requests and expectations in order that we can be their permanent supplier.

Employee engagement and loyalty

Our goal is to increase employee engagement and to measure performance through periodical surveys for employees.
What makes Bosis productive and profitable are our satisfied and loyal employees who each day give their best at the workplace. We work on creating the environment where all our colleagues will be engaged on their jobs and satisfied to play an important part in achieving organization success.

Implemented performance management system, mentoring program, competitive motivational package and employee development program which is financed by Bosis. System of measuring employee satisfaction and engagement is also implemented.

Implementation of the program for the improvement of supervisors’ skills and cascading company strategy top-down. Empowering teams through suggestion proposal competition between working groups.

Local community

Our goal is to contribute to local community where we operate through humanitarian and volunteer activities.
We are strongly related to places where we live and work. We support the local community through humanitarian donations; encourage our colleagues to participate in volunteer activities and talents to contribute to their community.

Managing suppliers and supply chain

Our goal is that our suppliers share our values and respect our Code of conduct.
By this Code we oblige ourselves to responsibly manage suppliers and supplier chains.
We are committed to ethical business practices and we expect the same from our suppliers in terms of respecting the laws, responsible business, environment protection and providing safe products and services.

Defined Principles of conduct for suppliers and improved internal system for supplier selection and evaluation which are in accordance to demands of sustainable market and socially responsible business.

Defining and presenting to suppliers Bosis initial criteria for supplier selection.
Improving the audit system and providing support to suppliers through consultation and advising in order that they fulfill Bosis requirements.

Supplier diversity

Our goal is to have more diverse and robust supplier chain no matter their location and country of business.
We work on increasing the number of suppliers in order to make a path for purchasing goods and services that we can rely on and to respond to clients’ requests in timely manner.

Using the materials from renewable sources

Our goal is to increase purchasing of the materials from renewable sources in accordance with the requirements of FSC™ standard we are certified by.
By purchasing materials from renewable sources, we confirm our commitment to sustainable use of forest resources.

Promoting the usage and importance of materials from renewable resources through suppliers’ education and involvement.

Waste recycling

Our goal is to educate the teams that will manage the waste and define activities for its reduction.
We responsibly manage all the waste from our production and educate our employees how to reduce its occurrence.

Improved system for waste management and achieved significant savings regarding waste redemption.

Establishing internal teams for the control of waste management and raising employees’ awareness regarding this matter.

Water consumption

Our goal is to target the activities in which we are using water the most and to decrease its consumption.
Since we use water in our most important production operations it is important to us that we always have enough clean water at our disposal. We conduct activities in local community aimed at protecting water resources and increasing the possibility of its recycling.

Defined and implemented measures for responsible management of waste water which occurred during production process.

In cooperation with the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy we define improvements regarding waste water management.

Energy efficiency

Our goal is to increase energy efficiency in all activities we conduct.

Achieved

We built object insulation and changed heating methods by opting for ecological sources. We installed line waste disposal system in our production facility.
